Adding a Custom Domain

To add a custom domain to your site, you must have a paid CryoLayer plan. First navigate to your site's settings in the CryoLayer dashboard.

Click the "Domain Names" tab. You should see some instructions on the DNS records you will need to input to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.).

Add a domain name input

After you click "Add", it may take some time for your new site to build out and apply the SSL certificate and domain name.

If you're adding both the www and apex domains, make sure to add them both. Set one of the two as primary to redirect traffic from the other to the primary domain.

Webflow custom domain name examples

In the above example, the "www.sampledomain1.com" domain would redirect to the "sampledoman1.com" domain since the latter is set as the primary domain.

Note: Currently CryoLayer does not work with Netlify DNS. If you are using Netlify for your DNS or as a domain register, you will first have to switch to another DNS service. We recommend Cloudflare.
